Bought on the dip, after dropping at the open. Ran it up to a slowing spot. Needed to go to an appointment so I closed out instead of worrying about what would happen while gone.
Day 1 gapper strategy, too fast up and down on the daily also on the daily, on the 15 minutes timeframe had a nice run.
Post 9:45 broke VWAP that pulled back to resistence and I got out
Entry date Feb 23, 2026: Bought 150 shares of ALUR for $1.53. RCT play, bought in pre-market when it hit the top body of the first red 5-min candle, big % gainer with news, 1.1x float rotation, 5.92M float, former spiker. Goal was .40¢ spike. Risk/reward was 1:2, .20¢ downside .40¢ upside. Exit date Feb 23, 2026: Sold 150 shares of ALUR for $1.63. Gave it time, couldn’t keep pushing, got out for a small gain, was near the open, when in doubt get out!
Bought in on a little dip in the afternoon. Basically just ran sideways and did not spike at all in the last hour as was hoping.
Dip buy as volume was changing. I noticed a slow down and starting to level off so I got out.
Taking some profits on nice setup that just bounced as expected after nice consolidation held VWAP.
