Random, could call FGDB but wasn’t tracking in excel, but felt the energy were due to bounce, so waited till went r/g and these are spikety so waited until it held full 5min candle over r/g and bought risking red, whilst in trade, realised wasn’t really going anywhere, plan was not solid, lots of res close and could drop on news, so was gamble i felt so got out level.

3/24: Restab after big afterhours panic in oil, risking 8.9 for a bounce back. cutting this, no bounce and higher chances to gap down than gapping up now.

3/24: After selling off heavily, taking speculative position afterhours, risking 9 USD/8.9, looking for a bounce and possible squeeze here in the next days. Possible move to 11, 12, 13. Cut after USO starting to crack on bad news. Taking smaller loss here

Mega loss, could have been worse. Sell losses more quickly than this. You really can always buy it back later. As I write, it is reversing and going back up. I probably should have taken a long walk instead of selling, but it just made me feel worried. Now I am thinking of buying it at a higher price than I sold it at.

Sell losses quickly. I should have been quicker than this. I sold 1000 at $11.18 and 2500 at 11.10. While watching the webinar I decided not to try to hold long any longer. I wish I had sold sooner. Instead I had partial fills and chased down to sell. OMG, it went up to the 11.60s after I sold. It eventually went back up to my original sell price of 11.86. I take comfort in knowing that I did pick the right exit price, which it would have hit if I hadn't gotten nervous and sold.
