Wasn't the premarket pattern that I like, and even tho it checked all the boxes on my checklist, I missed the best entry, and it got sluggish from there. I was up $240, but I set my stop super tight thinking it had another 10% in it, but got stopped out. Set a tight stop because I only had 60% conviction this would work.
Chased. Practive patients.
3 trades, 1 loss 2 wins. good trade, PM got in on the dips, clq and sold partial into strength.
I have to work and the volume isn't there. If it wasn't for work, I'd still be holding but my schedule isn't lining up and that's ok. Plus these are not the ideal plays so I'm done for the day
Panic dip bought and saw it hold 2.50 but bought later than I wanted. Goal was to but at 2.55 because I was too afraid of panicking further if it broke 2.50, but also wanting to see go back to the 2.70s. Sold because volume wasn't there with me. Too low for me to believe it could keep running
Bought this stock on a dip buy after I missed the original breakout entry. I had just logged on to STT and saw the stock breaking out past the HOD. I entered the dip buy too early, as it definitely needed to come down more for an entry. This was an earnings winner so I thought it would have more strength. Cut it at my stop loss. Dip buying is not one of my strengths. Good lesson.
