Reentered Option but it cost me more. Set OCO stop. Blew by my stop during open volatility. Lost more than intended.
Entered the on the open to catch the morning surge. Stock had a lot of interest and large volume at the close of the previous day. Messed up the Stop Limit sell entry and it sold right away for a loss.
Entry comments: Conflicts over in Iran started over the weekend and oil plays were coming in hot on Monday. Spiked above the consolidation zone set from Feb 19th until Feb 27th at $188 area. I bought in on a dip back to that consolidation zone. This is a swing trade idea as this conflict with Iran I am sure will continue and oil / gas plays is where it is at because of this.
Exit comments: Swing trade. Same explanation with DVN. I kept updating my stop as CVX went higher due to this war with Iran.
