Entry comments: Taking this higher float that's been on my big % gainer radar and is breaking out to 52 week highs. Plan is to swing it into next week. Got a GTC stop set on it at $5.94 where as I don't want to see it failing $6. 52 wk high swing trades on higher floats have a good win rate for me.
Exit comments: I should have put a profit target in place if I was going to walk away all day, which is what I did. It topped at about $7.12 at about 11:45AM and just been selling off ever since and hit my stop.
Tim weekend trade; experimented with early pre-market trade in Interactive Brokers; wasn't moving and should have sold in pre-market with a slight loss; plummeted at open; risk way too big.
Entry comments: I'm buying this energy stock spiking on news they're presenting next Wednesday https://tim.ly/45hTP1Q and hyping up their new domestic energy storage joint venture which will likely get some MAGA love once more people find out about it. Perhaps that's what today's volume is all about, but I like the upcoming catalyst, its just a 1st green day, former multiday runner, nice 30/cents/share off the day high. Goal is to sell in the high 4s or 5s, cut losses if it can't hold the mid 4s here
Exit comments: I'm out for small profits, it got up to the 5.30s during Sunday night trading, but couldn't hold that big gain as the overall markets are so depressed today so I'm just glad to lock in profits here safely in an ugly overall market. Stay safe today given the new tariff news
