First Red Day. -1R. Full size loss on this one. It squeezed again. My risk management was not good because I moved my stop two times, from $3 to $3.2 and then to $3.5. It halted to the upside and opened almost at $4. I should have sticked to my plans. This ticker had only 2 green days, not 3. Not a good trade. Left it alone for the day.

Overextension. -0.11R. Entered the trade because, after a big gap up, it failed. Entered risking hod and had patience. The $1.7’s held and then it squeezed massively. I have to admit that I was not ok with that loss and started scalping some shorts when it went parabolic. I recovered most, being very careful. Potential re-entry tomorrow. I hesitated on going long when it spiked above $1.80, crealy showing that shorts were in trouble.

Took a put. Risk is for the ticker to go above $15.5, which will make the value of the put to decrease substantially. I am looking for a retracement of the semiconductor sector before Friday. Also POET has a history of deathly gap downs. Exited because it held the $13 level. I would have stayed patient if it made new lows and closed weak but no need to play guessing games here. Small loss.

Gap Short. 0.18R. Took it when it could not break the premarket highs. Immediately got the flush but it came back. Moved my risk to hod when it went to the low $0.6’s. Had patience all day and covereed at 3:30PM at $0.62 just to see it go down 10 more cents below 10 minutes before the market closed. Oh well.
