Wait till stocks settle on bottoms don't chase first spike up esp when dip buying rather buy on the panic OR let it settle double bottom or ABCD pattern. Large gap downs don't chase similar to NOT shorting a stock on 1st big Green Day. In both situations let settle in for at least one day and buy on the news with vol or sell into weeks hands.
