Sometimes these discussions help us understand that every country is seeking its own balance between regulation and technological development. In some places, the rules are stricter; in others, they’re more lenient, but ultimately it all comes down to how easy it is for businesses to operate under these conditions. I haven’t launched any crypto projects myself, but it’s interesting to see how entrepreneurs choose jurisdictions that suit their goals.

That lines up pretty well with what I’ve heard too. Australia seems to sit in that middle ground where it’s regulated enough to be taken seriously, but not so strict that it kills flexibility for new companies. The AML/KYC part is definitely where most of the real work is. A lot of people underestimate how important it is to set those processes up properly from day one, especially if you’re planning to scale or work with international clients.
