NVCN – I bought 10,000 @ $0.4938 on 6/16 and decided to hold over the weekend.![]()
I’m all for locking in the 10%, 20%, 30% profit. I only maximize my position when it’s worth it, the main factor is understanding risk/reward for me I’m willing to maximize a position and hold even if I’m up 40% if the risk/reward is above a 3 ratio, for example I’m willing to risk 10 cents with a mental stop loss, for the reward of 30 cents.
The other factors on when I decide to maximize my position are the news, catalyst, volume, technical analysis and most importantly risk/reward, sometimes I’ll sell half my position and hold the rest it all depends on how much opportunity there is when maximizing your position, Using the strategy that took me 7 years to develop has been able to generate accurate expectations on where to buy and sell.
As you know NVCN has an upcoming, press-release, the volume is continuing to increase 6/16 when I bought NVCN the volume closed at 3.4M 6/17 the volume closed above 18M as long as the volume remains above the 10-day average this still has room to run / spike.
Let’s talk about the potential of NVCN, the highest I see this going is $1.78 this week, where the gap is waiting to be filled, from there I would use the gap fill strategy to predict who’s in control (bulls or bears)
Do I think the gap will be filled from $1.78?
Sometimes I use my “betting on the gap to fill strategy” to maximize the empty space waiting to be filled, and sometimes I hold my position set the PT where the gap is waiting to be filled and hold with ease.
In this case I will be trying to maximize $1.78 of the gap waiting to be filled, I’m not willing to hold NVCN and just tell myself the gap will be filled from $1.78 so hold with ease. In certain situations, I will do this, a perfect example is MNKD I can easily hold a position and expect the MNKD gap to be filled @ $1.30 so yes that’s an example and a free investing idea for you.
In order for NVCN to even go to $1s, $0.88 (major resistance throughout the chart history) Must break/hold then we’ll see $1s and continue to maximize the gap fill of $1.78,
If $0.88 breaks/holds then the SKYS THE LIMIT, Unfortunately The chart history doesn’t give us a clear PT on where it will run from the break-out of $0.88 besides $1.78 so my prediction is run to $1.15 I will then be finding the next resistance levels, sharing in the chat-room, and updating the watch-list on the next major resistance level break-out so we can maximize our position.
If $0.88 can’t not break bears will be in control and expect a crash to $0.58, if $0.58 can’t hold the bears will remain in control and bring this to $0.49. If $0.58 holds the bulls will be back in control and expect a run to $0.76
My risk/reward ratio analysis, my mental stop loss is @ $0.57 the current price is $0.79 So I’m willing to risk 22 cents, for the $1.78 potential gap fill level this week.
A lot of people have been asking me is it too late to buy NVCN? Here’s what I will tell you there is two ways to buy NVCN, buy the dips or buy the break-out, the same strategy I had given you in the watch-list from 6/17 where I stated you can buy the dips # $0.52 - $0.54 or buy the break-out past $0.58, so as you can see the watch-list works if you take action from the analysis, the only difference from buying now is it’s up 50% from Friday, which means more risk / less reward.
Now if you do decide to trade NVCN based of the watch-list analysis and deciding whether to dip buy or buy the breakout, I want you to take the meat of the move ideally 10%, don’t try to maximize your position your too late, and with an entry above $0.70+ the risk/reward is not in your favor to maximize your position. I’m sitting pretty @ $0.49 and I’m comfortable with my mental stop @ $0.57, your mental stop loss should be 2-5% loss from your entry if you do decide to take a position here’s what to look for:
Dip buying: When buying the dip, I usually wait 2-5 minutes to see if support holds then either buy off the small bounce from the support that held, when doing this I won’t buy higher than a 2% bounce off support. Or you can buy once support is holding and it’s consolidating. The dip buys to watch for tomorrow are at $0.70, $0.65, and $0.58
Buying the break out: If $0.88 breaks / holds the PT is $1.15, The ideal entry from the $0.88 break-out is $0.90
In all honesty NVCN is a pump/dump, the reason I’m holding is the upcoming press-release, amazing risk/reward from my entry @ $0.49, for me it’s worth maximizing my position, and the volume is ripping as well. So if you do decide to buy please follow the watch-list, and have mental stops set 2-5% from your position, and most importantly don’t chase. So if $0.88 breaks / holds and you decide to buy @ $1 instead of the ideal entry $0.90 you would be chasing.
Don’t chase pump/dumps, and have a 2-5% mental stop loss if you decide to take action from this watch-list, I gave you the plan, now let’s talk about what I’m looking for tomorrow for NVCN bulls to remain in control, I want the volume to be above the 10-day average 4M by the first 30 minutes into the market open, I’m also looking for a new volume break-out past 18m, If NVCN fails to break $0.88 I’m happy if $0.70 support holds, if not my mental stop loss is @ $0.57, I’m also looking for the press-release.
who's pumping it? a paid pump?
