Purchased CVX after it gapped down pre-market to $165 after it failed a multiple day breakout@ $174 52-week high. Exited position after it reached my goal. I was at work trading on my cell phone which is something prefer not to do with option plays. The price action reminds me of $F before it started the #4 of the PSFR.

Entry: FRD and earnings winner. Failed to break through resistance at $24.50. Plans are to hold through the weekend. The $QQQ is still trying to settle out. Exit: Sold half of position @ $.49 and the remaining at $.50. It looked like it had found the bottom @ $.50. Took the meat of the move. Trading slower moving stocks in order to work on my discipline before stepping up to more volatile plays.

Entry: Purchased after they gapped down because they failed to make earnings. They also broke multi-day support. Exit: Sold position after stop loss was met. I could have sold for a 50% win, but greed took over. Good thing I sold position because I bought the wrong week and it would have expired worthless.

Entry: Purchased small position over the weekend looking for continued market reversal on Monday. Goal is $.50 to $1.00. The open interest is ideal. It also moves in parallel with the $QQQ. Looking to cut loses quickly is markets move upward. Exit: Sold 1/2 position @ $1.22 and remaining position @ $1.25 after expectations were meet. It eventually reached $1.98. May buy Puts again if it looks like it can break multi-month support.

Entry: Speculative Dip & Rip Pattern chart with small position. It was trading 3 times its normal float. Also working handling my emotions by allowing the stock to run as long it was above my stop. Goal was $.10 to $.20 with a stop of $.10. Exit: Cut my losses after it hit my stop and the chart started to make new lows. I could have bought the dip later and broke even on the trade.

Entry: Purchased based on Slow Sto 20 swing trade pattern. It has a history of running in the past after a gap up with volume increase. Taking a small position trying to learn how play pattern. Risk is 3:1. Exit: Tried to give it time to play out since it was holding above cut price. The only thing was I missed cutting it at my risk level because of work and I did not have an alert set. Should have sold it after the first potential dip buy. But who can guess what the market will do? OTTNP
