My timing was terrible on my first several shorts on QQQ, so I was down big on those and tried again with this entry on SPY. This trade made most of my 1k plus day's profits.
This was one of my best trades of 2025. Drones stock that fell hard on 06/17. I started scaling into it until I had 10 calls for several weeks. I scaled out as it rallied for 5 days. My sells ranged from 1.00 all the way to 6.00 on 07/17
Got lucky on this trade. This expiration was too close, so I sold two of these for only 1.00. If I would have waited, I would have gotten 3.20 for each but, with two days until expiration, it was too risky.
Very stupid trade. Still making mistakes. I had a previous HOOD trade that I failed to stop out on and it just kept going down, so I guess you can call this a revenge trade. I'm glad this went down and I lost money on it. Maybe it taught me a lesson!
