Poor execution. In retrospect, I see I was chasing the Spike, and well, it bit me in my butt.
Too late, no action, cut and run.
Cut and run after the Bounce started changing directions.
Tried for a Bounce. No Bounce. Cut losses.
Accidentally exited this position as it was increasing... I won't be leaving the setting up the sell button so carelessly next time.
My favorite Volatile Oil ETF. It consistently spikes each day, often has a Morning dip, and then a late day run-up. Love trading it! Today OPEC released favorable extra production cuts. Along with Moderna's promising vaccine results, resulted in a nice spike.
Read about this on the Chat, analyzed it with SSS, thought it still had some legs, aimed for 10% then out. Had to wait for some sideways action before I could take the 10%.
Entry comments: Saw the Ramp up and shooting for 20% gain
Exit comments: What a rush! It went soooo fast at the end. Aimed for 20%, took 42%
