etrade! My favorite broker. Once I have enough capital I'll open an Interactive Brokers account...I hear they have the best borrows. But etrade has been fantastic so far

@lamirahg6151 up to you. I like etrade because I can trade on margin, trade otc's and their platform. You get what you pay for. I'm not a huge fan of robinhood but it does save you on commissions if youre concerned about that.

I'm follow @cwood strategy because as he had swing trading lends itself to my schedule. I made some rookie mistakes this week that prevented me from profiting big, but as he says the opportunity was definitely there.

@kmartindra you're on the right track! Remember in the morning stocks tend to be very volatile if you think a stock is going to rise you need to give it time to. I would say at least wait until 10ish to see if things are going you're way (you have to be able to ride out even though its painful to watch sometimes lol but at the end its worth it). But if its not going you're way around that 10ish or a little bit past then cut losses quickly!!

Thanks for the advice. Disappointing as this miss was it actually boosted my confidence. And I know that will help me ride out my picks as you say.

You probably panicked because your size was large. People get emotional when they hold something too large for their account. It's like placing a large bet in poker. Also learn how to read price action and wait for support and resistance so you get an idea of your risk.

@kmartindra Hey thanks for signing up and checking out my work. I'm still playing with the timing, so it'll change.. but right now they update at 10,12, 2 o'clock eastern time. A countdown timer is on my to-do list. The patterns change every 3-6 months, but I'm pretty good at spotting them early in the quarter, and always post them on my blog. There are some that have been pretty consistent for the last couple of years tho
